Favorite Sports Teams: Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Green Bay Packers, Oregon Ducks, Cal Poly Mustangs.

Favorite Sports Announcers: The Immortals of course – Chick Hearn and Vin Scully, as well as; Jim Rome, and Petros Papadakis and Matt “Money” Smith.

Favorite Sports Moments: (2000) Kobe’s alley-oop to Shaq in game 7 of the Western Conference Finals vs. the Portland Trailblazers that kick-started a three-peat of championships. (1987)  Magic Johnson’s hook-shot in the lane that gave the Lakers a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals versus the Boston Celtics.  (2010) Beating the hated Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.  (1988) Kirk Gibson’s homerun in game 1 of the World Series still brings goosebumps hearing Vinny shout, “high fly ball into right field….. she iiisssss… goooone!!”

Biography: Andrew Davis Stevens was born in San Luis Obispo, California. He currently resides in the beach town of Cayucos, California. After studying and playing sports at Coast Union and Cuesta College, he coached high school football, basketball and baseball for 7 years.  Andy also obtained a Residential Appraiser’s License at age 23, and became Certified at age 25, making him the youngest with this level of licensing in the entire Central Coast area.  At age 30, he is now self-employed with several banks and private parties as his clients.  His hobbies aside from sports journalism include: Dino his Boston Terrier, anything to do at the beach, softball, writing jokes, tennis, barbecuing, pick-up basketball, photography, fishing, camping, and all things outdoors.
