While most other Big Sky teams have completed their spring practice, Cal Poly football is preparing for their spring football game on Saturday. At a lively practice on Wednesday morning, the Mustangs practiced in shoulder pads and shorts as the sun came up over the hills behind the practice field.

Things seemed all right, except for a few omissions from the field.

Both Willie Tucker and Kori Garcia are injured. Tucker’s surgically repaired knee may require another procedure and Garcia looks like he’ll miss the Spring game as well.

At last Spring’s game, Alex Suscheck was a stand-out. Suscheck, who redshirted last season, could once again be a focal point of the Cal Poly offense.

A few new faces are on-campus for the spring, including Kevin Griffin.

What are you most looking forward to seeing in the Spring Game?
