Cal Poly men’s soccer has a roller-coaster week

Cal Poly didn’t quite have it on Sunday, losing to Gonzaga 1-0 in overtime

After beating #6 UCLA, Cal Poly played their home opener at Alex G. Spanos Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Not sharp at all, the Mustangs couldn’t seem to connect in the attacking third of the field.

In the second overtime period, Gonzaga scored the Golden Goal, sending the Mustangs to the defeat. The team is now 2-2 on the year.
