A bat like Butler’s would solidify the heart of the order for the doyers. And since we are christmas listing, a right handed power pitcher such as Max Scherzer would give the Dodgers a staff which may give more competiton to the all-star staff of the Giants.

Dee Gordon has the worst on base percentage and lowest slugging percentage in basbeall. He also has one of the lowest batting averages in baseball as well. Although very speedy, his contact rate is far too low for it to make a significant imact. At one time he was considered one of the top future defensive gloves in the game, but his costly errors have become a liability of late. Once he comes back from his thumb injury, Donnie Baseball will be forced to consider replacing Gordon for the remainder of the season. Such a tragedy for a kid who carries so much potential.
