I think Bosh is a poo-tang but Bron Bron at 6’8 260 would have no problem with fouls. He’d still barrel in and score. All the stars get that treatment: Kobe, Bron, Wade, Rose, Durant, and on and on and on. I vote bring back the McHale closeline. It was more exciting that way than it was now, where every missed Kobe fadeaway is turned into some micro brushing of wind call against his defender. It is bull. I am tired of it too. The NBA need not protect its stars for ratings…why? What is more exciting to see than a superstar rising above adversity winning it all? This is what made the MJ-Knick rivalry so brilliant. And, supertars are expendable. Every player in the NBA has star potential if given the shot totals, the workouts, the money, etc. My point is well made with the benching of Westbrook in game two of the Western Finals, where Eric Maynor (former March Madness superstar) came in and delivered as well if not better than Westbrook does.
