His informative, passionate play by play calling stirred a great interest in me as he is able to paint the entire game picture, complete with stats, plays and color comment about both Cal Poly players as well as opposing teams in the minds of whomever is tuned in. He is a rare talent that has the gift of broadcasting ,via radio ,a mental picture thats absolutely captivating while keeping one fixated on whatever game or sport hes broadcasting. I can honestly say that ive never experienced a broadcaster who was able to preform so flawlessly while doing different sports venues. One cant help notice that he does extensive research and puts in tremendous amounts of time prior to each game. Dave Grant is an upcoming force and a great announcer who will be in the big leagues soon, only a matter of time.Cal Poly is fortunate to of recruited such a fine broadcaster as well as a fine, energetic man.

This interview shows his intense passion, calmness and class which make up Americas next big broadcaster. Daves the man….listen, learn and you will agree. God has blessed him with the ” voice of the Universe “

NEVER MIND THAT HE HAS A TERRIFIC VOICE, AND THAT I CAN VIVIDLY SEE THE ACTION. HIS WIT, HUMOR, AND SINCERE CONCERN FOR THE PLAYERS, HAS ME LOOKING FOWARD TO THE NEXT EVENT HE ANNOUNES, WITH AN EAGERNESS THAT SURPRISES ME.

His energy, his passion for sports, his knowledge of the players he announes, and his ability to make a listener feel as if they are sitting in the front row…..these are the reasons why Cal Poly is fortunate enough to have Dave Grant. Dave is and will continue to be a leader in broadcasting. Thanks Dave for everything you bring, every day!! I sincerely look forward to your 2012-2013 broadcasts. Check out Dave @ Ibroadcastsports.com
