Kids don’t want to stuff themselves in a sports environment when they can be hitting downtown for pint night, surfing one of the many local swells, checking out the beautiful people, hiking, tasting wine, etc. But that isn’t to say that the school can’t create that. It just means it’s more difficult to overcome. I think the school needs a better gymnasium, & needs to really throw money into marketability. We have these amazing coaches across the board right now, a beautiful town & a great academic school, so why not the ruckus sporting events? It starts up top. Without the big wigs buy in, it’s a difficult task to accomplish.
